Cartooning Class
Love cartoons? Ready to create your own? Jump into a fun-filled adventure with Intro to Cartooning & Comic Books! This exciting class is perfect for young artists who want to unleash their imagination while building storytelling and drawing skills in a playful, ultra supportive environment.
Participants will dive into the world of cartooning as they learn how to design bold, expressive characters and vibrant, action-packed backgrounds. With step-by-step guidance, they'll turn their coolest ideas into an original comic book story—bringing their creativity to life on every page!
By the end of the session, each student will have their very own comic book to take home, share with friends and family, and proudly keep for years to come.
Mr. Patrick’s Intro to Cartooning & Comic Books class is offered every fall, winter, and spring. Classes meet once a week for one hour over 8 to 10 weeks (depending on holidays).

Cartooning Summer Camp
Participants will learn the same foundational cartooning skills as the class, with an added focus on creating their own comic book narrative. They’ll bring their imagination to life with colorful, animated characters and backgrounds in a story to share with family and friends. But it's not all work—camps are meant to be fun! Instructors create a lively, light-hearted, and friendly atmosphere to keep participants engaged, making sure camp becomes a memorable summer experience. Plus, participants enjoy two 15-minute breaks to snack, make friends, and take part in fun games. On the left are actual examples of completed comic books made by participants in my Cartooning Camp. Mr.Patrick's Cartooning and Comic Book Summer Camp runs from May through August, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
